This is the story of three street kids and a stray cat who meet in Victorian-era London. Left to their own devices in the slums of the East End, their fate intersects with that of the famous consulting detective Sherlock Holmes, who recruits them to help him in his investigations. From then on, their lives change forever...

Billy, a budding detective, sees himself as 'the brains of the trio.' Tom is an exceptional pickpocket and acrobat, daring and rebellious. Then there’s Charlotte, who roams the streets of London undercover, going by the name Charlie, and is undoubtedly the most resourceful of the group. And who is the fourth? Ah, that’s where their loyal stray cat, Watson, comes in (elementary, of course...).
